Privacy Policy

Vita Nova is a fertility charting tool. We know that cycle data — observations, peak days, intercourse — is among the most personal health information you have. This policy explains exactly how your data is stored, who can see it, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information through the website. Vita Nova has no account system, advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, or cloud database. We do not receive your name, email address, cycle data, notes, or device identifiers.

2. Information stored on your device

Vita Nova stores information you enter in your browser's localStorage, including cycle dates, fertility observations, bleeding, Peak Day and intercourse indicators, notes, and preferences. Thomistico cannot access this information.

3. Export and import

You may export your chart as JSON or PDF, or import a Vita Nova JSON backup. These actions are initiated by you and processed locally. Thomistico does not receive exported files. Protect any copies you create.

4. Network access and third parties

The chart does not transmit your data over the internet. The site may load font files from Google Fonts, and links you choose to open are handled under those sites' own privacy practices. No chart data is included in those requests.

5. Security and deletion

Your browser and device security protect your locally stored chart. Use a device passcode and keep exported files secure. To delete chart data, use “Reset everything” in the chart menu or clear this site's browser data. Clearing site data can be permanent, so export a backup first if you need one.

6. Children

Vita Nova is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children—or from any user—because the chart does not transmit personal information to us.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
